Dance is the hidden language of the soul.

*Martha Graham*
Typical Dance Production classes consist of an upper division jazz warm-up, intensive stretching and conditioning to better form the dancers muscles and to help across the floor and
center floor exercises. Dance Production also participates in multiple performances such as our annual Christmas show and any festival or extra performances at our many schools
we teach at. The dancer’s performer two- three dances for the annual recital in June that open and close every Rhythm ‘N’ Dance performance. This means the Dance Production
dancers will perform multiple times in one day, and possibly if required, multiple shows in one day.  We also hold a verity of extra activities such as slumber parties and pizza parties
throughout the year. We feel these multiple performances and activities help the dancers grow and allow for great opportunities and help form a bond between the dancers of Dance
Production. It’s a great Team experience!
Dance Production dancers are required to remain in their original class, to maintain their basic technique and knowledge of dance that is not covered or gone over in a Dance
Production class, Deanna works beyond the basic levels which has made Dance Production and its dancers such a success in the past. Dancers can opt out of their regular school
class and take our technique class instead if they are not feeling challenged in their regular class. Dancers are also required to attend 90% of all class and if a class is to be missed,
Deanna must be notified in advanced . This # is for Dance Production dancers only, please do not abuse it or give it out to anyone!

Classes are impacted due to the dancers learning multiple dances instead of the normal one in a typical Rhythm ‘n’ Dance class, so it is very important that the dancers are present
to learn all the material and to stay on schedule. Guest teachers and choreographers are also brought in throughout the year; all dancers are required to be present for these unique
lessons. The basis for these guest teachers are for the dancers to learn about all forms and genres of dance, in order to become the best dancers they can be.
Dance History and Terminology is also an important part of our class and takes place in the first 15 - 20 minutes of class. All dancers are required to learn dance terms in Tap, Ballet
and Jazz, their definition, as well as their description. Dancers will also need to be able to perform or demonstrate the terms. Dance History is also taught and it is important all
dancers know where, who and how dance has come to be, and were it is going. Dancers will be quizzed the last week of each month; points for quizzes, attendance and participation
will be tallied throughout the year for prizes.  Quizzes, attendance and class participation will also be a determining factor in whether or not a dancer is asked back to the team the
following year, and helps with placement on teams.  Dance History is taught in even years for Sr. Team, 2008, 2010 etc…While dance terminology is taught in uneven years 2007,
2009, 2011 etc... This is the opposite for Jr. Team.

Class attire and conduct:

the first of every month, and a $10.00 late fee applies to payments received after the 5th of the month. There are no discounts for 6 month or yearly payments, due to the fact we have
